Founder and Head Tutor
Callum Goldie
After acquiring a BMus(Hons) degree in Music specialising in Jazz Performance from the New Zealand School of Music, Callum has dedicated himself to 25+ years of professional performance music. Over those years, he has successfully managed and performed in bands nationally and internationally, with residencies in and tours through countries such as the UAE, France, Greece, the UK, and Australia, playing RnB, Pop, Rock, and Jazz. He has also played alongside acts such as L.A.B, Bass Hunter, and The John Butler Trio.
Since the beginning of his career in 2004, Callum has performed professionally thousands of times across a range of musical styles, from Jazz to Originals Rock. As a highly experienced drum tutor, his extensive background has equipped him with an indispensable wealth of knowledge that he is passionate about sharing with his students.

Stacy Hoobler
Emerging out of America’s heartland, Stacy’s experience is the epitome of being a drummer. After studying percussion at the University of Kansas, Stacy performed in marching bands, orchestras, and numerous bands spanning various genres: punk, rock, pop, indie, folk, country, and funk.
With over 25 years of performing, touring, and recording in the USA and Australia, Stacy’s passion for drumming brought her full circle and back to New Zealand. Now a senior drum tutor at our Auckland drum studio, she shares her wealth of experience, helping others follow or discover their joy of playing the drums.

Bis Arun
Bis’ musical journey began in Singapore, where he honed his skills across both drums and violin, earning a Diploma in Performance. His passion for rhythm led him to serve as a Military Musician in the Singapore Armed Forces, performing at a professional level before transitioning into music education.
Having taught drums in Singapore before making Auckland home, Biswaroop brings a disciplined yet enthusiastic approach to every lesson. His diverse musical background and genuine love for the instrument make him dedicated to helping students of all levels find their rhythm and confidence behind the kit.

Earl Edgar
Earl is a passionate and experienced drummer. Holding a Certificate in Music (Drumming) from Excel School of Performing Arts and a Bachelor of Education from Auckland University, he brings a unique blend of musical expertise and teaching insight to his lessons.
Earl has performed extensively in cover bands across Queenstown and New Zealand, playing weddings, corporate events, and lively pub gigs, earning a reputation as a reliable and accomplished drummer. His involvement in the local music scene led him to recording and producing, and he now runs his studio, where he continues to collaborate with artists.
With over a decade of teaching experience and a deep love for music, Earl is a dedicated drum tutor who brings energy, knowledge, and professionalism to every lesson.

Ethan Curtis
With over 13 years of drumming experience, Ethan brings creativity, kindness, and a genuine passion for teaching to every lesson. He studied at the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand, where he further developed his skills and deepened his love for music.
Ethan loves helping students discover their own musical voice, encouraging creative freedom, and creating an environment where drummers can thrive.
Known for his friendly personality, great sense of humour, and supportive approach, he is passionate about recognising and nurturing the strengths in his students, helping them grow both in skill and confidence.

Sam Jacques
With extensive experience as a professional musician and a passion for all things music, Sam has graced some of Aotearoa’s biggest stages, including the iconic Rhythm & Vines main stage.
A skilled guitarist and songwriter, Sam’s musical journey is backed by a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Performance) from Te Koki New Zealand School of Music. His expertise spans both the stage and behind the scenes, making him an ideal addition to our team.
Sam is dedicated to sharing his deep knowledge of music, both in performance and production, and is excited to help our students grow in their music skills.
Drum Tutor
Rohini Joshi
A dedicated drummer who also plays guitar and sings, Rohini is drawn to rock in all its forms, grunge, hard rock, alternative, and nu metal, taking influence from bands like Nirvana, AC/DC, Limp Bizkit, and Alice in Chains. She has performed live at bars and small venues across both the United States and India, and continues to record and share drum covers and original music content online.
Patient and encouraging, Rohini has a knack for breaking down techniques in a way that’s easy to grasp, creating a supportive, engaging environment, especially beginners finding their feet behind the kit.

Reuben Scott
Reuben (BA Hons) is an accomplished drummer with extensive experience as both a touring and studio musician. He has performed and toured as the drummer for acts such as Daffodils, Jack Berry, and Nic & Reuben, showcasing his versatility and skill across various genres. Additionally, Reuben has toured Australia with Molly Payton, opening for international acts like Palace and Beabadoobee.
As a drum tutor, Reuben brings a wealth of real-world knowledge to his lessons. With experience playing for artists such as Violet Hirst and Salt Water Criminals, he enjoys helping students develop their musical voice and confidence behind the kit.

David Arnold
Hailing from California, USA, David has worked as a drum tutor for more than 10 years. After studying under renowned American artist Wally Schnalle, he performed throughout the USA in bands ranging from Wind Ensembles and Jazz Big Bands to Drumline, Hip-Hop, and Metal.
Currently studying towards his Master’s in Music at Auckland University, David’s vast knowledge and competency on the drums, combined with his attentive teaching style, have successfully guided many students to success over his 20+ year career.
