Our story
After many years of playing music professionally worldwide, I returned home to New Zealand with a desire to share my knowledge with others through a dedicated drum studio.
The Drum Studio was founded out of a lifelong passion for drumming and the belief that learning an instrument can be fun (and easy!) with the right guidance and enthusiasm. Since day one, our purpose has remained the same, to enable others to experience the joy of playing music, like I have over the past 20+ years.
Many years on, The Drum Studio has done just that by supporting thousands of children and adults across Auckland (and New Zealand) to learn to play the drums.
